SN74LV21A: Requesting RoHS3, Reach and CALPROP65 Certificates

Hi Team,

I am Malathi, working on a medical sustenance project. We are using some of your parts in our design; however, these parts are obsolete, and I am unable to find any details in the Material Content Search tool.

The part numbers are:

DRV8803PWP
SN74LV21APW
TPS2052BD

Please guide me on what steps I should take. As this is a sustenance project, it is important for me to obtain ROHS3 compliance information for these parts.

Hi Malathi,

The SN74LV21APW is on the material content search. Here is a link to the material content. The obsolete aspect of this device is its tube packaging, but you can get an identical device in reel packaging. This product is SN74LV21APWR.

This is the logic forum. For your other two devices, please post those devices on their respective forums for help.

Can I use the RoHS certificate from the material content search of P/N SN74LV21APWR for SN74LV21APW, since the only difference is in the packaging? Please confirm if this is applicable for the other two parts as well:

TPS2052BD
DRV8803PWP

Hi Malathi,

THIS PAGE that I gave you previously is for the SN74LV21APW. It is RoHS compliant. SN74LV21APWR is also RoHS compliant, and this is shown on THIS PAGE. You are correct that the two devices are identical, and tube vs reel is the only difference.

As I said, this is the Logic Forum. I can only make statements on logic devices. However, you can use the Material Content Search to find information on your other two devices TPS2052BD and DRV8803PWP. They are both included in that database, and the Material Content Search declares that they are both RoHS compliant.
