SN74LVC1G86: RMS Jitter Specification

Part Number: SN74LVC1G86

Hello,

One of our suppliers used the SN74LVC1G86 circuit in a build, and we are looking to determine whether it meets our jitter requirements. We would like to know how much RMS jitter the SN74LVC1G86 circuit will add to the signal as it passes through, specifically within a 10 Hz to 10 kHz integrated phase noise bandwidth. If we could either be provided with a measured maximum value or an estimate based on analysis, that would be much appreciated.

    Hi Jillian,

    For logic gates we won't specify things like jitter or how to calculate what that might be. If you are in need of specific jitter requirements I would recommend looking into TI's clocking portfolio where it is more likely to specify.
