SN54LVC00A-SP: SN54LVC00A-SP Radiation Data

Part Number: SN54LVC00A-SP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN54SC4T00-SEP

Dear TI Team,
We have noted that this component is space-qualified, and we are interested in evaluating its compatibility with our mission requirements. Could you please provide the available TID (Total Ionizing Dose) and SEE (Single Event Effects) radiation test data?

Additionally, we have a further technical question: is the manufacturing process used for the military version (SNJ54LVC00AW) identical or similar to the one used for the space-qualified version?

Thank you in advance for your support.

  Best regards,

Ivan Reguzzoni
Seletech Eng.

  • Hello Ivan,

Some of these older logic devices do not have published TID and SEE data. Can you use a newer space-grade device such as the SN54SC4T00-SEP? These have the TID and SEE data.

  • Thank you for your reply, Michael.

At the moment, the component has already been selected and we have been requested to provide its radiation data. We will take your suggestion into account for future selections, thank you again.

Is there any possibility of obtaining partial radiation data for this component given its “-SP” nomenclature? Alternatively, can we state that the manufacturing process is equivalent to the one used for the “SN54SC4T00-SEP” component, although I doubt it since this one is more recent?
