We are seeing failures on all boards that using the CD74ACT541 chip with lot code 4BC9XXXX. Below is some data to support this. The attached ppt has data to support this.
I believe at this point failures can be recreated with the boards that have the 4BC9XXX lot, meaning they are not performing well for our application. We need to
- Understand what the serial coding means on these parts and how is it different from older lots?
- From the PCN, we understand that there was a change in new wafer site, die change, site manufacturing change , BOM updates, Bond wire change. Do you have data to support that there were no performance differences between the lots?
- Understand if TI has had any other complaints/written any SIRAs on this part.
