74ACT16541: Missing SPICE Files for Multiple Parts

I could not use the "simulation and design" form for this. I tried entering part numbers, but each time it came up as "no results." My question is not just about 74ACT16541. A customer provided a link to a legacy list that say there are SPICE files available, but they aren't able to find these files. Here is the link:

Does Texas Instruments not have these files available anymore? They ask "And what is an “Average Model” vs. “Unencypted”. When I use the Webench Power Designer I get presented 15 designs which all have “SIMULATE” as NOT AVAILABLE. "

    Hi Kaleb,

    The link you provided doesn't work.

    For legacy devices like the 74ACT, we won't have any simulation files (I don't believe that we ever did). 

    I'm not sure about the Webench Power Designer question. I am not familiar with that tool. I also am not familiar with the distinction between "average" vs. "unencrypted" models, maybe that's a question specific to the Webench platform. The majority of our models in Logic are unencrypted, although we do have some encrypted models intended for use on HSPICE platforms.

    It's just a text file that gives a bunch of legacy parts and "descriptions of the spice files." It's a TI link, so it would seem like texas instruments had these on hand at one point. I'm wondering if his software uses an old link setup that has deprecated information now.

    That link works, I was able to search up some of the literature numbers and it does appear we have SPICE files for these devices on the backend. I'm not sure what happened, we probably updated our website or something and at some point these files stopped being linked on the product page.

    What devices does he want SPICE files for specifically? If he only wants specific ones it would help if I knew which ones just so I don't have to individually find and download every single file.

    I am currently asking again. Hopefully they will respond, but it has been waiting for some time because I couldn't figure out which Forum "form" to use. I apologize in advance.
