SN74HCS245: Requesting insight on potential socket solutions

Part Number: SN74HCS245

We've recently been requested to electrically up-screen the DC and AC characteristics for part number SN74HCS245DGSR and are currently running into an issue with finding appropriate sockets to house free parts. Could you please either highlight a potential vendor for use or provide cost for us to purchase 3-5 sockets  for direct use?356A1434P231_TRS.PDF

  • Hi Kamden,

TI doesn't sell the sockets. I can't look into where we get the sockets we use for internal testing. There are a few different venders I've used as an engineer - Plastronics and Loranger come to mind. Both of those make sockets on demand. I'm sure it would be cheaper to find them on digikey or mouser, but I'm not sure if they're on there.
