TPLD1202: Can TPLD1202 Be Reconfigured After OTP Programming?

Part Number: TPLD1202

Hi,

I would like to confirm the programming options for TPLD1202.

My understanding is that TPLD1202 uses one-time programmable NVM. Could you please clarify the following?

  1. After permanent OTP programming, can the same device be updated, partially programmed, or overwritten with a new design?
  2. Can the internal configuration or operating parameters still be changed through the SPI/I²C interface after OTP programming?
  3. Are SPI/I²C register changes volatile, meaning that the device returns to the OTP configuration after a power cycle?
  4. Is it possible to leave the OTP blank and load the complete configuration from an external MCU at every power-up?
  5. Is temporary configuration rewritable without a programming-cycle limit?

Thanks,
Conor
