We noticed that the SN74LV125ARGY has been designated Not Recommended for New Designs (NRND) for the VQFN package variant. This component is currently used in one of our newer products, with the latest revision scheduled for release soon.
Could you please provide any available information regarding the expected production lifetime or end-of-life timeline for this package variant? This information will help us assess the urgency of replacing the part. Depending on the anticipated availability, we would likely transition to an alternative device or package option during the next board respin.
Also there appears to be a Automotive version. Does TI consider that a form, fit, functional, (drop-in) replacement?
