Hi,
I need a buffer to connect ADS803 (TI's ADC) with spartan 6 FPGA.
Could you help me choose a right buffer ?

I can help you choose a buffer. Can you tell me the tipe of input signal going into the buffer and the type of output signal you need coming out. Voltage and frequency

Input to Buffer :

Signal swing = Digital - CMOS level

Current = 0.5mA

Load drive capability of the input signal = 5pF (Typical)

Buffer output :

Signal swing = CMOS

Load drive capability = 10 to 20pF (It is going to be connected to Spartan 6 FPGA IOs)

How many outputs?

3.3V or 5V Cmos?

Hi Chris,

I am going to feed 60 3.3v cmos to FPGA IOs.

I have chosen SN74LVC2G07 buffer which seemed to suit my need.

Please confirm.

The 07 is open drain. If tou need open drain outputs then it should work. We also have the 6 bit version.SN74LVC07A
