TPLD1202-RWB-EVM: Regarding the TPLD1202 EVM

Hi team,

My customer is currently considering the adoption of the TPLD1202.

Previously, the customer was evaluating the device using the TPLD1202-DYY-EVM-E1. However, it appears that the EVM lineup was updated when the TPLD1202 was released, and we can currently find only the TPLD1202RWS/RWB EVM in the product folder.

We do not see an EVM available for the DYY package. Is there any plan to release a DYY-package EVM in the future?

    I have a few additional questions.

    • Is it possible to mount and evaluate a DYY package sample on the TPLD1202-DYY-EVM-E1 that my customer currently owns?
    • When will the DYY package version be released?

    Hi Kyohei-San,

    I can't recommend mounting the DYY to the current EVM that your customer currently owns.

    There may be an bug in TI.com as marketing has informed me that a DYY-package EVM is currently released and available. Please reach out to your TI sales rep to inquire about getting the necessary EVM.

    Thank you for your support.

    My understanding is that the TPLD1202-DYY-EVM-E1 was intended for evaluation of a pre-release version of the TPLD1202, and that the released TPLD1202 device has undergone changes. Therefore, is it correct to understand that future device evaluations should only be conducted using the newly released EVM?

    If so, we will consider obtaining the new EVM for our evaluation activities.

    In addition, I understand that an EVM for the DYY package has also been released. However, on TI.com, I can only see the information shown in the screenshot below. If this is due to a bug on the website, could you please let us know when it is expected to be fixed?

    I've reached out to one of our Product Marketing team members to see if we can assist. I do not know the particular bug that is possibly causing the DYY-EVM to not show. If you can please reach out to your TI sales rep who may be able to assist further.
