Hello,
We are using a TPLD2001 as a digital filter in our application. The filter parameters need to be configurable via an I²C interface from a TI processor. The I²C interface component has been implemented with the peripheral address 0001.
Our test setup is as follows:
- EVM = TPLD2001-RJY-EVM-E1
- I²C interface = TI USB2ANY / Part No.: HPA665-001
- TPLD programmer
- InterConnect Studio Version 1.8.0+1529
Problem:
The design is loaded onto the EVM via the TPLD programmer and runs flawlessly in emulation mode ("Interface select" jumper = SPI).
Subsequently, the interface is switched to I²C.
It is not possible to establish an I²C connection to the TPLD2001 via the USB2ANY; the TPLD2001's I²C interface is not detected.
What is the problem?
Note:
No current manual is available for InterConnect Studio version 1.8.0+1529. The InterConnect Studio user manual dates back to 2024. For instance, the current operation of the simulation function is not described in the documentation we have available.
