CD40110B: Is it replaceable with ONSEMI MC14011?

I would like to know if the CD4011BE can serve as a replacement for the MC14011 (ONsemi).
Could you please confirm whether it is a suitable replacement?

    Yes; the MC14011 was designed as an exact clone of the CD4011B.

    Hello,

    I agree with Clemens's assessment, but I wanted to add that the PDIP package is becoming more rare today for a reason. Switching to the CD4011B is a short term solution if you don't want to update your system immediately, but I would strongly suggest looking into a modernization of the design to support something like the TSSOP (PW) package, which is much more likely to continue to be available for decades to come.
