Difference between CD74HC132 and SN74LV132

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CD74HC132

Is there anything that shows the difference between the CD74HC132 and SN74LV132?  Anyone have a IBIS model for the CD74HC132?

Thanks,

Chris

  • Hi Chris

The CD74HC132 has a wider temp range . The LV132 is a newer part with additional features.

The LV132 will allow overvoltage on its inputs (greater than VCC). It also has the Ioff feature that allow voltages on the inputs and outputs when the part is powered down. When Vcc = 0v the I/O's are high impedance. The LV is a very quiet low noise family.

We do not have models for the HC132.
