Hi, I have a simple question regarding the basic functionning of the CD54AC109 flip flop. Refer to the function table at the top of page 2 of the datasheet. Suppose that there is no low to high transition of the clock. If we impose PRE_=H and CLR_=L, then Q=L and Q_=H regardless of other inputs. But if we then impose PRE_=H and CLR_=H, will the outputs still remain unchanged (Q=L and Q_=H)? The last line of the table tells us that yes if CLK=L, but is it also true if CLK=H or in a transition from high to low?
