syncronisation problems on a oscilloscope

Hello from Sydney Australia!

I am trying to make a dual input adaptor for a single channel oscilloscope.

When I have a sine-wave on one channel and the trigger output of the sine wave on the other channel the oscilloscope doesn't trigger on

the combined output.The output has alternate and chop modes and all I can put it down to is that there must be a slight phase difference

between the two ,even though there from the same source.I guess the only way out is to have a trigger that triggers at the beginning of

the two combined waveforms.

Your TI site is great! and very helpfull.

Thanks-Simon

  • Hello.

    I couldn't set up a post in the Software section because the site wouldn't let me start a new post.

    Anyway ,I'm not really sure if anybody still uses dos in a window in xp but here is a question for you;

    Using 'paint' command in qbasic only allows the border to be one colour.

    It doesn't seem to allow to fill in with any colour as a border because there is no provison for it.

    I would have thought that specifying any colour other than 0 ,would be quite easy to implement.

    The windows version is XP 5.1.2600

    Thanks-Simon
