[-2.1V;0V] to [0V;2.5V] LEVEL SHIFTER SOLUTION

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA835

Hello all,

I need to realize a low power [-2.1V;0V] to [0V;2.5V] level shifting for a 2MHz SPI link. I've allready tested various solutions but i i didn't manage to find an integrated & low power solution.

I planned to use a comparator with independent Input/Output Supplies like LT1715 from Linear Technologies but this solution is energy greedy. Is there any equivalent in T.I portofolio?

I also tested a solution with an inverting amplifier based on OPA835, but this solution require an additionnal logic inverter at the output.

Does someone know a simple low power & integrated solution for my problem?

Thanks,

Guillaume

  • Hi, Guillaume,

What you need is a level shifter which can transfer the negative voltage to positive voltage? current we only the have the positive voltage translator and have lower power. we will have the negative translator, but since no much need. so not start, will this need have more volume?and in the actual project?

  • Hi Junjie,

Volume is not precisly defined yet. We are at the beggining of a project which will last 6 years! In fact, what we need should be a 74 family 4053 with a positive VEE!
