TXB0304 problems

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXB0304

I used this voltage translator device, but they doesn't work. I check that the Ax level are setting but the Bx line remain to 0V.

I tried to s et the OE high (as they required) and low but the Bx line remains at 0V. The VCCA and VCCB are both present. Below my schematics:

  • I also check the symbol and the pin 1 position. Below my layout:

    Thanks

  • Hi, Luca,

For TXB0304, before you do further thing, please check it is not the TXBN0304. if it is the TXB0304, please make sure below pins are OK.

1.Both power pins VccA and VccB.

    2. OE pins is at the correct voltage, equals VccA.

    3. No soldering issue

    4. The driver has enough current drive capabitly required in DS, at least larger than 2mA, better to have eh 3mA.

if all above are OK. please let me know what is your waveform at both A and B. what do you mean by "Ax level are setting but the Bx line remain to 0V." what the waveform are. have you toggle the A side and then measure the B side, what the waveform looks like?

if you have done what I said, have you replace another TXB0304?or is there the same issue on other boards?

please above things and let me know the answer, if the issue is still there, please let me see the waveform you got for both input and output sides.
