SN74LVTH2245PW Termination Resistors

Team,

I have questions with regard to the SN74LVTH2245PW devices.  Is it correct that pull-up & pull-down terminations on data lines for devices (such as the SN74LVTH2245PW) with “data hold” feature should NOT be implemented?   The typical I/O hold current appears to be 75uA, and the maximum is 500uA/-750uA. This would mean a single 4.7K pull-down resistor could potentially fight off a HIGH “held” state for a typical I/O.   The maximum rating is obviously telling the designer that they must use a driver that will over-drive worst case of 500uA/-750uA if you intend to fight off the bus hold.

Thanks for the help!
