Problems with Binary-to-BCD converter (SN74185AN)

We are using the BCD-to-Binary and Binary-to-BCD converter (SN74185AN) so we have the next problem: When we want to convert a 6 bit Binary number to BCD using the connection in the page 3 of its datasheet we never get the expected results that are on its function table. No matter what is the input on the pins A-E we always get the next result: Y1 Y2 Y3 Y4 Y5 Y6 - H L H H H H H. To try to fix this problem we used different configurations with resistors on the output pins this resistors had the value of 2.2KOhms and 10KOhms, but the problem remains.
