In our board design we have a signal driven from SoC on Management 3.3v to Payload processor working on payload 3.3v
Though both Soc & Paylaod processor are working electrically on same voltage level ie 3.3v, the source for both is different. Power to SoC will come first & later power to payload processor will be enabled by SoC itself The issue is in earlier board it was found that when a signal is directly driven from SoC on Management 3.3v to Paylaod processor working on paylaod 3.3v, it was observed that Payload 3.3v was getting charged. Later we found that this was because initially management power will be there & there will be no paylaod power in which case any signal driven high from SoC towards Payload processor was charging payload power plane.
So in new designs to take care of signals travelling signals from one power plane to another power plane both working electrically at same power level ie 3.3v but whose sorces are different I am thinking of putting level translator.
So in this regard can I have a level translator TXB0102 having VCCA on management 3.3v and VCCB on payload 3.3v just for isolation of powers?
Though electrically both VCCA & VCCB are at same levels both powers are from different sources.
