Spice model for 74HC4052 and 74HC4053

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CD4052B

Is there any support for Spice models?

I am looking for the spice model of a 74HC4052 and 74HC4053

Greetings,

Ronald

  • Hello Ronald,

There doesn't seem to be any spice models available for those devices.  You can check WEBENCH Design Center for all available SPICE models.

The 74HC4052 comes in other variants though, such as the CD4052B, SN74LV4052, 74HC14052, etc.

One option is to use the SPICE model of any of the MUX that you have in your simulation software.  Usually they go by MUX-2-to-1 or QUAD-MUX-2-to1 etc., or something along those lines.

  • Thank you for this.

It is strange that TI is not investing is spice, they can sell much more of their products

For my development and production I need to prove the whole schematics  on good working.

I need now to find a other component who is supported in spice

Analog devices has muxes with spice models, I will going to use those.

    Greetings,

    Ronald

  • TI may have the SPICE model.  I couldn't find it when I was working on a project that needed it.  In fact, I couldn't find it anywhere!

I'm sure they have it.  You can always try and contact their sales department directly.

    Thanks,
