TXB0102 signal not detecting while driving with VCCB supply limit

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXB0102

Hi,

Below is the circuit used in present design, for bi-direction signal detection as shown in attachment.

VCCA is driven by FPGA with 3.3 V and detected and 5V logic, but when 5V logic is driven not able to detect on 3.3V logic. Please advice if any changes to be incorporated in below circuit for detection of 5V logic.

Regards,

Mani

  • Hi,

VCCA is driven by 3.3 V logic and could detect the signal on 5V logic, but when VCCB 5V logic is driven not able to detect signal on 3.3V logic (Observed oscillations on CRO). Please advice if any changes to be incorporated in below circuit for detection of 5V logic.

  • Hi,

We are also using TXB0102 in our design and appreciate receiving some response on why above circuit isn't working to confirm if we should move forward with it or not in our product.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

  • Hi Naba,

Just according to schematic, the accurate analysis is not made. Please check TXB0102 external driver current and rising edge.

If input and output waveform snapshot and external schematic can be provided, it will give more information to analyse the issue.

    Thanks
