Hi,

Could you advise the SN74LV4052A IC need external DC-bias? Or it already has Internal DC-bias?

Below is portionof the circuit diagram using SN74LV4052A we appled all external DC-bias resistor to every input port.

If this IC has internal DC-bias resistor, we want to remove those external bias resistor.

Please advise.

This part does not have internal pull resistors.

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

I powered the IC with single supply +5V and without DC biased at any input port.

I expect sine wave will clip at negative half, but same sine wave appear at output.

Could you explain why?

Can I use the IC for audio frequency switching [20Hz to 20KHz] without DC biased?

You will need to bias the input or it will clip. It should not have any problem with audio signals if it is biased. If your input did not go more then -.7v then you may not see the clip.

Another part that would work is the CD4052B if you have a negative power rail
