Hi,

Our cutomer is considering to use SN74CB3T3306 for 148.5MHz clock.

Can you use SN74CB3T3306 for 148.5MHz clock switch / level shifter ?

I couldn't find the operating frequency range specification in the datasheet.

Could you please give us your advice?

    Can you tell me what levels you are translating and will it be one direction or both and i can help find another option.

    Hi Chris-san,

    I found below application note, which shows input/output voltage waveform at 200MHz.

    From this information, it seems that the device could be used in 200MHz applicatoin, but, depending on load, voltage, and some other condition.

    This device is already on customer board.
    They will use this device as a multiplexer, connecting 1B pin and 2B pin together, controlling 1OE/2OE signal.
    Input/output level is both 3.3V and output is directly connected to DS90LV001, CMOST to LVDS Driver.

    As they are using as an multiplexer, I think TS5A3157 could be used. But, is there any device which could be used pin compatible with this SN74CB3T3306DCUR ?
