What are the differences between part 74AVC4T245DGVRE4 and part 74AVC4T245DGVRG4? From looking at the datasheet I couldn't spot any difference with package size or specifications.

These are called eCAT numbers and stand for the following:

E4: part is lead-free, ROHS compliant, and NiPdAu leadframe finish

G4: part is lead-free, green, ROHS compliant, and NiPdAu leadframe finish

“Green” refers to the part has < 0.1% of Bromine (Br) and Antimony (Sb)
