Inquiry regarding drive current on TXS0108E

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0108E

Hello, all

Now we have one inquiry regarding the drive current on TXS0108E from our customer.

Please refer to the item below, and feedback us with your comment.

When referring the datasheet an application report of TXS0108E, we could understand that this device could drive 70pF capacitive load when we use this device on maximum data rates, i.e. 60 Mbps (Push Pull) and 2 Mbps (Open Drain).

However, we could not find out how much current could be driven on these cases.

Please let us know how much current could be driven in case of each conditions below;

1) 70pF capacitive load and 60 Mbps (Push Pull)

2) 70pF capacitive load and 2 Mbps (Open Drain)

We thank you in advance for your information.]

Best regards,

  • Hi,

    Approximate 20mA current can be driven from TXS0108 at low-to-high transition in both applications (push-pull and open-drain).

    The data rate will depend on external current driver and external output load. When current source is higher and external output load is lower, the data rate is higher.

    Thanks
