Using logic level shifter TXB0104 or other variants

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXB0104, PCA9306

Hello,

I have Pandaboard ES and GPIO HIGH level for this board is 1.8v. Looked at this TI forum link and found that TXB0104 or SN74LVC8T24 could serve the purpose.  My o/p voltage requirement is same but driving peripheral is different. It is TLP250 which need 5v input.

Specifically, there will be 4 GPIOs of Pandaboard will be used to generate 4 PWMs o/p (duty cycle / frequency not yet known) that will be feed to 4 TLP250. As mentioned eariled TLP250 need 5v as high i/p so I require voltage level shifter in between Pandaboard and TLP250.

So, questions are:

  1. Will single TXB0104 be able to drive 4 TLPs?
  2. If TXB0104 can't then any other better alternatives?
  3. If someone could tell about connections for TXB0104 it would be of great help.
