Is there any maximum operating frequency for C RE-TRIG MONO MULTIVIBRATOR

Hi ,

I am using SN74LS122NSR retrigerable monoshot. Pulse width is set to 50ns. Till 5Mhz it is working fine. Above 5Mhz the output is always high.May I know why this is happening. Please help me to sort out this issue.data sheet of particular chip is attached along with this mail.

    Hari,

    Can you please provide us with the following:
    1) A schematic of your application of the SN74LS122NSR
    2) An oscilloscope waveform with an input frequency near 5 MHz where the one-shot pulse is still observed
    3) An oscilloscope waveform with the input frequency at 5 MHz where you are seeing only a high signal on the output
