Dear Sirs

What is the different between SN74LV32ADR vs SN74AC32DR?

Thanks

  • Nat,

Since these two parts fall in two different families (LV-A and AC indicate families of logic), there are many differences between them.  Perhaps if you could tell me more about your application, I could help you select the better part.  Just glancing through the datasheets I found more differences than I could list here (many of them are minor and likely will not affect your decision).

    A few differences are:

LV-A family -- partial power down, back drive protection, and live insertion protection

AC family -- lower max tpd and higher Vcc range

    A few similarities:

    f_max (110 MHz), Overvoltage-tolerant inputs, CMOS structure
