Is there a 4 to 2 encoder (or priority encoder) available?
I used an 8 to 3 priority encoder (CD4532B) where D7 to D4 is grounded and Q1 and Q0 are used as outputs. However, I really need a 4 to 2 because of PCB space. Any part available as a 4 to 2 encoder?

We don't have a 4 to 2 encoder, but if the priority part of the encoder isn't important to you, it is possible to use a dual OR gate as an encoder, and we have some very small packages for dual OR gates. The SN74AUP2G32 is one example of a part that would work.
