[ TXS0206 ] For eMMC

Hi,

My customer has been studying to use two pcs of TXS0206 for the connection between their CPU and eMMC.

Here is the idea how CPU and eMMC are connected via TXS0206.

Do you think there are any concerns to be considered?

What I'm concerned are...

Q1: On TXS0206-2, CMDA/B and CLKA/B are left open

Can these CMDA/B and CLKA/B be left open?

Q2: For some cases, VCCA and VCCB are getting same 1.8V.

Since datasheet has some specification for the case of VCCA and VCCB are same voltage, this should be okay.

Hi Ken

On initial review,

CLK-A is a CMOS input and can’t be left floating (unless the path is disabled). It needs to have a defined state.

CLK-B is a CMOS output

CLK-F is a CMOS output

CMDA/CMDB are auto-direction-sensing translators with internal pull-ups so they could be left floating.

Okay, I see, CLKA input is also CMOS input.

Then I suggest customer to have defined state (not to float) for CLKA input.
