How do I know which one has long life, or not going to the end of the life soon?

Sorry, I forgot to address that part! Any part that has at least 1 customer buying it from TI will _NEVER_ be obsoleted or EOL'd. I have even heard of parts being brought out of 'retirement' for a customer.
