SN74LV123A PSpice modeling

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LV123A

I'm using the SN74LV123A PSpice model from TI site.

It works as expected when using small Cext of e.g. 150pF. The voltage on the capacitor drops from 4.983V to ~1V when triggered.

After changing the Cext to 1uF the voltage on the capacitor is changing from 4983V to 4.982V and nothing happens.

What am I missing here?

The circuit and waveform attached.

Thanks,

Alex

  • This model was created for a very specific version of Cadence (16.2 I believe), and has had trouble on other simulators. I am currently talking with our model creation/simulation team to find out if there is anything we can do and will be happy to update you when I have any additional information.
  • Thank you for the prompt response, I will wait for an update from the model team.
If there are any other models of any retriggerable multi vibrator that are available for PSpice 16.6 this also can help.
