PCA9306 IC Temperature

One of customer is using PCA9306 in design which works at 65 Deg C Ambient. During thermal simulations they are finding that the IC temperature is going close to 106 Deg C. Is this acceptable ? What ways can we use to reduce this dissipation.
 
I thought about suggesting the Automotive grade component of this. But it seems that that part also works only from -40 to 85 C. What is the difference between the two parts then.
