TI.......have a latching solenoid that requires 5 volts 150mA to latch. To unlatch, the polarity on coil needs to be switched. A 50 ms pulse is all that is required to change from either state. I have accomplished switching (latch/unlatch) successfully by controlling 4x loose transistors individually. Is there a TI logic chip that has the following; 1x dedicated 5V TTL input for latch command, 1x dedicated TTL input for unlatch command, 5V V+ power Pin, V- Power Common Pin, 2x output pins that could drive the solenoid .....these lines need to switch polarities based on command input. Also, only want to hold output on for 50 to 100 ms after command input.....need one or both output lines to open when last command input goes away (i.e. once valve latches or unlatches, don't want to continue to supply power to coil, as it is mechanically latched into current position and power is not required). Will be controlling commands with a micro controller and/or dry contact pushbutton. Any IC chips come to mind that might work? If not, how about a chip with an array of individual transistor that I can connect/control externally, as required?
Thanks,
Kent
