Can LSF0108 be used as same-level buffer?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LSF0108

Hello!

The datasheet of LSF0108 does not specify if it can be used with VrefA = VrefB.

I want to use it as a buffer because of the high output current. I want to drive ~25pF load with 60MHz, but I need no level translation.

Is it reliable to drive both voltage sides with the same level? 3.3V for this instance.

  • Hi Dominik ,

Thanks for your interest and looking into the LSF . This is not meant be a buffer since it doesn't have the drive of its own . This acts as a pass FET when appropriately biased and VrefB needs to be atleast 0.8V higher than VrefA to make this work.

You can refer to the app note which can be really helpful in understanding LSF operation.
