solar micro grid inverter (bild 2: Inverter Closed Current Loop without GRID )

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28035

hi,

we are testing Inverter Closed Current Loop without GRID, but getting square waveform at the o/p as same given i/p dc volt, feedback inv_men_curr_inst & inv_mean_volt_inst  are ok, where is the problem i am not getting, please suggest me what to do..

  • Hi Datta ,

could you please send the schematics and the waveforms for review ? Which device are you working on ? Its top side marking would also help .
  • Hi sir,

           we are using TMS320F28035 controller.

  • Hi Datta ,

A detailed schematic and the top side marking of the device in question would help .
I just want to confirm that there is no mix up in the devices, schematic can have an inverter but actual device may be a buffer populated on the board . It is a rare possibility but can happen .
  • Hi sir,

thanks for your replay, but it is not in my hand to send schematic, hardware persons only know about schematic..

    thanks

    Datta

  • Hi Datta ,

without the schematic or knowing the actual part on the board by top side markings , its hard to speculate why inverter doesn't behave right .
You can try replacing with another part to see if it functions right and /or replace a working board with this device to see the failure follows this device .
Is the scope set in invert mode or any delay element which can delay the output to make it look buffered ?
  • Hi Sir,

Please find attached file of schematic and waveform. this is same schematic that  we are using in our development board.

we tested open and close loop flyback stage , got the output  as per our requirement and  also tested open loop inverter stage, got the output sine waveform. we are getting problem in close loop inverter stage..

actually we have to get output sine wave as applied input dc voltage but  getting square waveform as same as input dc voltage..i also attached watch window readings that  we observed ...waveform.rarinverter.rar

  • Hi ,
I was having trouble in finding out the inverter which has this problem . could you point out the test point for the waveforms too ? I couldn't find EPWM 2A on the schematic .
Some pointed out details on the scopeshot had oscillations , this would propagate to the output too. having cap on the input and Vcc pins can reduce it .
