①Is DIR pin necessary or unnecessary Pull-up resister?
　If necessary, is pullu-up resister value 5kΩ, no problem?
 
②Which recommend of unused channel?
　・A⇒GND,B⇒Open
　・or A⇒GND,B⇒GND

    Hello Satoshi,

    1) no pull up resistor is required on DIR, but it is OK to use. 5K is safe and will be safe.

    2) if a channel is unused, it is safer to have A and B connected to GND in case the DIR bit get changed. Then the input will always be tied to ground, regardless of the value of DIR
