The datasheet of the device states at pag.14 that the device driver must have a strength of at least 2mA.
In the following figure 6 there is a graph I_in vs V_in that shows with a Vcca=1,8V a 0,2mA maximum input current.
Now connecting a driver at Vcca=1,8V with a maximum drive strength of 1,5mA is safe for a reliable communication? Or this connection is not recommended (Idriver>2mA) and a buffer is needed?
