Where should be connected the exposed pad of LSF0108 in the RKS package (20-VQFN)? Is it internally connected to GND?

Hi Marcos ,

I would suggest the exposed thermal pad be soldered to the PCB board for thermal integrity and this is not internally connected to Gnd.

Hi,

Sorry to come back to this issue again, but there is still some room for interpretation: Is the exposed pad completely isolated from any potential of the chip? Can the exposed pad safely be connected to GND or should it rather be connected to another potential?

Referring to the datasheet page 34 /35 gives additional details on the exposed thermal pad and its connection . There is also an app note which you can refer below .

Can the exposed pad be safely connected to ground (the same potential as pin 1)?

Hi Greg,

The thermal pad can either be connected to ground or left floating - either way is fine.
