SN74LVC8T245 - power up sequence

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC8T245

Hi all,

Would you mind if we ask SN74LVC8T245?

<Question1>
The sequencing of each power supply will not damage the device during the power up operation(VCCA -> VCCB), right?
Can either power supply be ramped up first, or not?

<Question2>
If the only VccA switch off by some accident but VccB keeps on,  the device is not damaged, is it?

<Question3>
In case of the power up operation, OE pin should connect to VCCA.
Is it NG to connects to OE with GND(in case of the power up operation)?

Kind regards,

Hirotaka Matsumoto

    VCCA and VCCB can be powered up in any order without device damage.

    Correct. By "switch off", I assume you mean that VCCA is kept at GND. Let me know if my assumption is correct.

    In the case of power up operation, you can connect OE to GND without any device damage.
