Do we have a Schmitt-trigger inverter with a max positive-going input threshold voltage of <= 1.8V when VCC = 5.5?
Closest I can find is SN74AHCT1G14, which is 2.0V.

Hi Jonathan ,
I would assume no , since Vt+ of 2V will be considered as Vih for the part and requiring to switch below max of 1.8V for 5.5V Vcc will be bit of stretch . The hysteresis of the switch will become narrower with lower Vt+ and higher Vt- too . I can search a few and see how the Vt+ behaves and will let you know .
