We want to know the delaytime from the IC power-on to Yx output enable.

We would make the IC powered off for reducing power consumption, so we suppose following case.

INH: 0V (low)

Yx : 5V

If VCC is 0V->5, COM is 0V->Yx (5V)

In that case, what is the delay time for output?

Do you have information?

Hi na na ,

I would not suggest this setup for SN74LV4051 . This doesn't have Ioff partial power down protection and the I/Os have positive ESD diodes to Vcc and having 5V when Vcc is 0V is not advised .

1. Does our setup result in damaging IC?

2. When the IC is powered off (Vcc =0), any I/O voltage should not be applied?

without Ioff circuitry , I/O voltage should not be applied .
It is not likely to cause any damage as long as the current abs max conditions are adhered to . going over the abs max conditions , there may be reliability issues of the device in the long term .
