I would like that you check with me the placement of this TXB0104 (without ground plane under the package) in order to understand if can cause any malfunction of the device.

Based on the layout picture that was provided, the PCB layer immediately beneath the TXB0104 I/Os is a split ground plane. Can you please confirm?

Yes Nirav, it is a split ground plane.

A split ground plane will not result in a device malfunction, but it will hurt signal integrity and reduce TXB0104 performance (e.g. reduces the maximum data-rate that can be supported without signal distortion).

My recommendation is to maintain a solid ground plane underneath the TXB0104.
