LSF010x max propagation delay

Hi,

I have a design where a bidirectional level translator is required (1.8 to 3.3V). For this purpose I was thinking on a LSF010x device which seems to fit in this application. However, propagation delay is a critical constraint in this application but I can only find typical delays on the datasheet.

Is this data available? I would need this information to make a decision on which part I could use

Best regards

Jose A.

  • Jose,

I've notified the applications engineer of your request but they are currently on travel. When do you need a response?

    Best Regards,
    Nirav
  • Hi Nirav,

As you could imagine, as soon as possible :)

If you could provide an answer early next week it would be great.

    Thanks

    Jose Angel

  • Hey Jose,

I would like to start off this  response with the fact I cannot guarantee any of the max specs of the devices for tplh or tphl.

LSF101 max spec is approximately 3ns

LSF102 max spec is approximately 1.7ns

    I don't have data for LSF108

I will reiterate that we do not guarantee these specifications. That being said I hope this helps.

Note these values are for 50pF capacitance.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

  • Hi Jose ,

The LSF is a passive translation device which doesn't have drive of its own . The host device should provide the necessary drive and the prop delay from A -B is dependent on the loading at the output. The ron , pull up resistance & load capacitance combined determine the prop delay and hence it cannot be spec'ed on the datasheet as such .
