Application Issue of AVCH2T45

Hi AE team,

Could you kindly help on the below question, please? Thank you very much!

My problem is when VCCB is 3.3v power on but VCCA 1.8v is power off. Is there current leakage from VCCB to VCCA?

The below figure is our circuit using AVCH2T45.

regards,

Bell

  • Bell,

I would not expect any significant leakage from the VCCB domain to the VCCA domain when VCCA is powered down to 0V. What exactly is the customer observing? Do you have lab measurements that you can provide?

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Nirav,

Thanks for your reply. How large can the leakage current be? (nA, uA?)

And could you please specify what lab measurements you want us to provide? Thank you!

    regards,

    Bell

  • Bell,

I would not expect leakage to be more than a few uA. The VCCA and VCCB domains are isolated.

I would like to see an oscilloscope waveform capture of VCCA and VCCB when VCCA and VCCB are both powered on, and then VCCA is powered down to 0V.

Is the customer powering down VCCA to 0V, or are they leaving VCCA floating/open?

    Best Regards,
    Nirav
