Hi,

My customer would like to use SN74LVC2G17 to make 24MHz clock buffer.

Question1: What is the bandwidth of SN74LVC2G17? Could it meet 24MHz?

Question2: If I input 3.3V clock to SN74LVC2G17, could I use 1.8V supply voltage to output 1.8V 24MHz clock?

Is there any concern about that?

Hi Jim ,

1) The product folder lists the max frequency supported is 150 Mhz, so it should be fine for your requirements.
2) The features section mention the inputs accept up to 5.5V at valid Vcc , so it is over voltage tolerant device and hence your operation is valid.
