LSF0108 Switching Characteristics - Maximum Propagation Delay?

Hello,

The LSF0108 datasheet lists typical values for TpLH and TpHL in the tables on pages 7 and 8 for various circuit configurations. Can you provide the maximum values for these same circuit configurations? Customers need to know the max value to build an error budget for timing. I think this information should be added to the datasheet.

hi Kevin ,

we have received similar requests on LSF before .
The LSF is a passive translation device which doesn't have drive of its own . The host device should provide the necessary drive and the prop delay from A -B is dependent on the loading at the output. The ron , pull up resistance & load capacitance combined determine the prop delay and hence it cannot be spec'ed on the datasheet as such .

Hi ShreyasRao,

I understand what your are saying but I disagree. The LSF0204 appears to be a similar device that we do provide maximum specs for. The maximum specs are given for particular RL and capacitor loads. I think we could do the same for LSF0108.

I will contact the product line directly. E2E is not the proper place for this discussion.
