Trace impedance at the VME connector side of SN74VMEH22501ADGVR

Hi,

In my desingn, 1A, 2A and 3A terminals of SN74VMEH22501ADGVR are connected to Altera FPGA and 1B, 2B and 3B connected to vme connector.

Please let me know what shell be the trace impedance for 1B 2B and 3B terminals.

I would calculate using the Vol/Iol to estimate the impedance of port B ; worst case will be 0.6V / 0.064 ~ 10ohm .

Thanks for the reply.

In my query, trace impedance meant the characteristic impedance of the trace between B ports and vme connector. So I would like to know what should be the recommended trace characteristic impedance. Whether 50 ohm is fine?

Matching termination with the Zo of trace is recommended for max power delivery and not to cause any reflections. 50ohm is generally accepted standard.
