SN74LV4T125 / SN74LV1T125 - Ioff Supports Partial-Power-Down Mode Operation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LV4T125, SN74LV1T125

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask SN74LV4T125 and SN74LV1T125?
Do SN74LV4T125 and SN74LV1T125 support(correspond to) Ioff Supports Partial-Power-Down Mode Operation?

As our recognition, ABT, ALVT, AVC, AUC, AUP, CBTLV, CBT-C, GTL, GTLP, LV-A, LVC, LVT and VME series support(correspond to) Ioff Supports Partial-Power-Down Mode Operation.

We recognize that series of SN74LV4T125 and SN74LV1T125 as follows;
-SN74LV4T125 : LV-A series
-SN74LV1T125 : LV1T series

We guess that SN74LV4T125 supports Ioff Supports, however SN74LV1T125 doesn't.
Is our recognition correct?

Kind regards,

Hirotaka Matsumoto

  • LV-A is a different family and has nothing to do with these devices.

LV1T and LV4T are the same family, and do not support Ioff.

I do not know why the SN74LV4T125 datasheet specifies Ioff; the Recommended Operating Conditions table forbids applying any voltages to a powered-off output, and the Absolute Maximum Ratings table does not allow voltages up to 5 V.
  • Hirotaka san ,

I would like to see Ioff on LVxT family , but it seems wrong to me to have Ioff on SN74LV4T125.
I will note down to investigate further and cross check other specs too .
  • Hirotaka san ,

I checked with the product engineering experts and the master die is indeed Ioff compatible , hence this is right. It would be good to highlight this in the feature section.
